Resident PS3 Elf, Bill Gerstel, Needs Our Help

Bill Gerstel, a former PS3 dad and longtime parent volunteer, needs our help. For years, Bill gave tirelessly to the PS3 community, serving as PTA co-president, co-chair of the arts committee, beloved Power Lunch shepard/organizer, alum drummer in the auction band, overseeing the live music at Spring Fling, just to name a few. Bill, who also ran a kids rock camp, was a longtime fixture in the 1980s East Village punk and rock scene.

Bill has again been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, the illness he beat many years ago. Bill and his wife Robin are being hit with a new wave of medical bills, as they struggle with everyday for food and other daily necessities.

You can help Bill and Robin by helping to reach the $35,000 goal set by a GoFundMe campaign that’s already raised $30,232.
