* Thursday, August 17 at the Hudson Park Library branch:

Macaroni, A Summer Reading Celebration! In this high energy, full band, summer celebration, children are excited to play air guitar, jump high, party under the parachute, shake it loud, pop the bubbles, stroll in the garden, do the Macaroni dance, and enjoy a special visit from a puppet named “Moochachka” the Monkey. Little ones are thrilled to see Meredith LeVande in person after watching her in-between PBS Kids shows. Best for ages 3 and older. Presented by Monkey Monkey Music. Read more at the NYPL  site.

* Saturday, August 26 at the High Line: 

Make It Move! is part of a series of free family festival taking place through September. Design moveable creations with a Children’s Workyard Kit, learn a new dance move, and more.
