* Saturday, July 29: 

High Line free family festival: Make It Rooted!, taking place on the High Line on Saturday, July 29th. This is part of a series of free family festival taking place through September. Each month there is a new theme and packed day of varied interactive performances and activities that reflect the diversity of New York families. Read more here: Flyer_Make It Rooted_FINAL

This month’s program is in collaboration with the artist collective Abya Yala Arte y Cultura.

* Thursday, August 17:

Hudson Park Library event: Macaroni, A Summer Reading Celebration! In this high energy, full band, summer celebration, children are excited to play air guitar, jump high, party under the parachute, shake it loud, pop the bubbles, stroll in the garden, do the Macaroni dance, and enjoy a special visit from a puppet named “Moochachka” the Monkey. Little ones are thrilled to see Meredith LeVande in person after watching her in-between PBS Kids shows. Best for ages 3 and older. Presented by Monkey Monkey Music
