GREENWICH VILLAGE ANTIQUARIAN BOOK FAIR / WEBSITE
February 24-26, 2017
Hosted by PS 3 since 1980, this event for rare book collectors and book lovers is the school’s major public event. Booksellers across the country bring their wares to booths at the school, and people from all over the city and beyond visit PS 3 to catch this distinctive book fair. Parent volunteers make it happen with promotion, set up, and helping out during the event.
PS3 WINTER AUCTION
February 6 – February 12, 2017
The Winter Auction is featured online and offers a variety of artwork, dining certificates, vacations, services, crafts, and everything imaginable that parents and local businesses can possibly donate.
PS3 SPRING AUCTION

This fundraiser is geared for adults. An array of wines, a great assortment of food and live music are offered, along with the ability to view auctioned items online before the bidding begins. Coordinators will oversee publicity, food, drink, entertainment, sponsors, donations, decorations, set up & clean up.

Yee-Haw! How cool is it that your city slicker can line dance? But that’s not all! There will also be tons of crafts, a special clay show, delicious chili and cornbread and zero waste (cool!). The PS3 Square Dance is one of the best family nights out that you will have — so be there or (truly) BE SQUARE! See you in the Auditorium!

The PS 3 Spring Fling brings together students, parents, teachers and neighbors alike for a day of family fun. The festival (attended by over 500 guests per year!) includes carnival games & prizes, huge inflatables, unique arts & crafts, live music (and karaoke!), class-donated basket raffle, seasonal vendors, a delicious food court and art cafe, a quality raffle, used & new book sale and lots more! This is truly an all-community event that requires over one hundred volunteers to make the day happen.
