For the 2nd year in a row, PS3 Parent Louis CK will generously donate the proceeds from one of  his performances at Carolines Comedy Club to our school. Those of us who went last year will confirm it’s a hilarious night out. Proceeds from the March 14, 7pm show will be donated to PS3 only so make sure you go to this one.

Because of last Friday’s snow day, the February meeting was rescheduled for this Friday. Join us in the Library.

Let’s help the K/1 classes collect 100 cans (at least) in our annual food drive to benefit City Harvest.  There are boxes outside classrooms on the 2nd floor and you can just add your donation there.

We have officially kicked off this year’s Direct Drive, our biggest, most important fund-raiser of the year. This is the time when we ask each and every P.S.3 family to contribute as much money as you can afford to help round out your child’s education. No time, no energy needed. Just a donation.

The Library Committee welcomes you to join us in the library to browse for children’s books Monday mornings at 8:30 after drop off. There will be a sign-out book on Jackie the librarian’s desk where you can check out your selections. During recess, the children really enjoy building and creating with them.  We have  enough of the larger Duplo blocks – we just needs the small legos.
