3. Scheduling Notes
a) Our Program follows the public school calendar. There is no afterschool during holidays or any day that PS 3 is closed.
b) On Fridays, the afterschool runs from 2:20 to 6:00pm to accommodate the early dismissal policy.
c) On Half-Days, when students are dismissed at 12noon, the afterschool program provides three extra hours of service, from 12noon to 3pm, in addition to its regular schedule from 3 to 6pm. The registration link for the Extra Hours is circulated to all PS 3 parents a few days before the date of service.
d) Fourth Graders Attending PS3 Test Prep *
If you would like to register your 4th grader for the Spring Semester, please enroll now to ensure a slot. For FIRST PERIOD activity on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, you should select ‘Attending TestPrep’.
* When their session is over, students walk down to the lobby with their TestPrep teacher, sign in with the Afterschool Site Director, and join the activity they selected for Second Period that day.
