Afterschool Drop-In service for 2-5 Graders is available every day the Afterschool Program is in session. Afterschool Drop-In service for PreK-K-1 begins in October.  On occasion, we also offer evening childcare during special School/PTA events. Please check the PS 3 calendar for specific dates and times.

NEW PARENT SOCIAL
Thursday September 28 ** Evening Childcare Special: 5:30 – 8:30pm (Gr. PreK – 5). $10/child.
New families planning to attend this PTA event can sign up for evening childcare. In addition to recreational activities – games, legos, crafts – we will offer movies for different age-groups. Pls don’t forget to pack dinner for your child (there is no food available in the school at that time).
If your child attends the Afterschool Program on Thursdays, and you register for the Evening Special, s/he will transition directly from the Afterschool to the evening slot. 
PLEASE NOTE ** Registration for this Special will be open through September 27. No refunds for cancellations or no-shows.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE…… 12noon Please register as early as possible to ensure a slot.
PROCESSING FEE (CHANGES)  $5.00
TEACHER NOTIFICATION
If you register for a Drop-In Day, please don’t forget to notify your child’s teacher that s/he will attend the program on that day. Teachers cannot release children unless they have been notified by the parent/guardian in advance. This is very important!
SPECIAL CLASSES AND ACTIVITIES
Drop In students are allowed to participate in special classes and activities provided they are not full. This decision will be made by our staff during attendance. We cannot guarantee there will be a slot available for their preferred activity. Please do not email requests for participation in specific classes.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
If you need to change dates after processing the online registration, please email request to:  ps3til6@gmail.com.  A credit will be added to your account – after deducting the $5.00 Processing Fee – provided the request is submitted no later than 12noon the day you signed up for. 
NON-REGISTRATION
For safety reasons, we cannot accept children without pre-registration. Never send your child to the Afterschool Program unless s/he has been registered in advance. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in the suspension of afterschool services for the remainder of the school year.
