Students in grades PreK and K-1 participate in all of the activities offered during the semester on a rotating basis [PreK Tennis, K-1 Tennis, and K-1 Swimming are the only classes that require pre-selection during Registration for this age group]. Students in grades 2-5 are asked to select One Activity per Period when they register online. Please read the Semester Schedule for selections. Class descriptions are available under the Enrichment section of our website.
MINIMUM ENROLLMENT REQUIRED
Classes advertised in our semester schedule are subject to cancellation if they do not meet minimum enrollment levels. If this happens, students who were enrolled in that class can select an alternative activity or cancel the Weekday and receive a pro-rated refund.
REQUESTS FOR ENROLLMENT CHANGES
Our office will process enrollment adjustments provided the email request is received within the first two weeks of the semester. There is a processing fee per request.
REQUEST FOR CLASS CHANGES (GR. 2-5)
During the first two weeks of each new semester, 2-5 graders can email requests for class changes [subject to availability]. After this period, students should discuss class preferences with their supervisor. Staff can make class adjustments provided there are slots available.
HIGH DEMAND CLASSES AND WAITLIST POLICY
If a particular class your child would like is full, please fill out the waitlist form here. To ensure equal access to high demand classes we follow these simple guidelines:
1. If we have waitlisted children for a class that’s offered more than once per week, students who registered for duplicate slots will be asked to give up one of them. Thank you for your understanding.
2. Waitlisted students who are unable to join their preferred class in the Fall will be given priority for that class in the Spring.
3. When the number of waitlisted children exceeds the number of available slots, participants will be selected by lottery.
CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY
If a last-minute class cancellation occurs due to teacher’s illness or emergency, and we are unable to bring in a substitute instructor, the children registered for that class will participate in another Activity being offered that day. No refunds or credits issued under these circumstances.
